Caring for your pots
All of my products are handmade with love, care and attention to detail. As with all handmade artworks, each piece is slightly different making every pot individual and one of a kind. The glaze is dishwasher and food safe although I recommend hand washing to maintain the longevity of your piece. If using the dishwasher, place in very carefully.
Processing Time
I do my best to get orders out quickly but please note it can take up to 4 days processing time before dispatch.
Shipping
All delivery costs to the UK are free of charge, unless the buyer requests First Class delivery, in which case they are responsible for payment of extra costs. If the parcel is going over seas the buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and any fees, customs or import taxes. I am not responsible for delays due to customs, postal strikes or national holidays.
If you'd rather come and collect your order from the studio please get in touch to arrange this.
If a shipped order goes missing or becomes lost in transit, please get in touch with myself and the postage company.
Return Policy
If you are unhappy with your purchase please get in touch no later than 7 days after your item has arrived. I only accept returns or exchanges on a case by case basis so please choose carefully and get in contact if you have any queries before you purchase.
Once the product has left my studio, I am not responsible for any breakages or cracks, ceramics are fragile but can be long lasting when handled with care.
Commissions
When requesting commissions, please allow for up to 4 weeks of production for mugs and bowls. Larger commissions or sets of items may take longer. This is especially important if your requested item has a deadline like a Birthday or Christmas.
During busy periods I may turn down commissions if I know I won't have the time to complete them.
Teaching Policies and T & C's
We reserve the right to cancel or change the date of a course or class where necessary or it is impractical for a course to run. By booking on any of our courses, workshops or single sessions you agree to abide by our Terms & Conditions. It is your responsibility to inform us in advance of any allergies or special requirements.
If we cancel your course or session for any reason we will do our best to organise an alternative date within a reasonable period of time. If this is not possible, or you are unable to attend an alternative date, we will refund the full purchase price.
Class cancellation by You
All cancellations must be sent by email to jess22morris@gmail.com
If you need to cancel your class this must be made in writing or by email within working 7 days of the session. Cancellations such as Throwing Taster Sessions will only be refunded or changed to another date if notice is given in writing or by email at least 7 working days before the session is due to take place.
Courses
If you cancel with 7 days notice, a full refund will be issued.
If you cancel with less than 7 days of the course start date, we will issue a partial refund or if we can move you onto another course in the future.
Postage following a Taster session
Following a Taster Session attendees will be contacted when their pieces are ready to collect. We will always encourage attendees to collect their fired pieces in person but if they are unable to return to the studio we may be able to post them to you.
We charge a standard administration fee of £10 per attendee to wrap and package the pieces and post to an address within the UK. If posting outside the UK additional postage fees will be required, based on DHL’s postage tariff.
All students should wear appropriate clothing and comfortable, flat shoes, closed toe shoes with non-slip soles and covered toes. Casual clothing is recommended. Long hair must be tied back for wheel work and jewellery and watches are best left at home. Please note that we are not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing or loss of valuables. All of our students will receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing their session.
